The Beginning of Steamy Darcy ...

“My dear Mr. Bennet,” said his lady to him one day, “have you heard that another Jane Austen fan fiction tea room is up?”

Mr. Bennet replied that he had not.

“Do you not want to know who created it?” cried his wife impatiently.

“You want to tell me, and I have no objection to hearing it.”

“Why, my dear, you must know, it is set up by Enid Wilson from Australia, if you know where it is. I heard from Mrs. Long that Pride and Prejudice was her favourite novel but she loved her stories hot. She started reading Jane Austen’s fan fiction three years ago, and was so much delighted with them, that she started writing steamy stories about Darcy and our Lizzy last year.”

“How can this affect us?”

“My dear Mr. Bennet,” replied his wife, “how can you be so tiresome!  You must know that I am thinking of more people reading about us, the Bennets, now that she makes her tea room open, without the need of registration. That will push our girls to the path of stardom!”

“Is that her design in doing so?”

“Indeed! She has some gentlemanly stories put in THE COOL ROOM. But in the THE HOT POOL, the stories and pictures are hot and naughty. My Lydia shall not read them, till she is over eight and ten years of age. We must hurry, my dear. Enid said she was waiting for our views on her stories. Our views shall be the food of her muse.”
